| January 6, 2004 Yet another article is published, this time in the Wall Street Journal's OpionionJournal.com, about the need to reform the decrepit United Nations. My response is below. |

| The United Nations cannot be reformed. It is beyond repair. Once we admit this, effective steps can be taken, such as sending the UN scoundrels packing. Then we lower the flags, raze the building, and auction off the land to the highest bidder. America has tolerated and funded these spies and bureaucratic parasites for decades. After billions spent and countless lives lost supporting hapless UN ventures, America is repaid with a collective thumb in the eye. It's time to yield the reins to a country that richly deserves this motley crew: France. Yes, the French desperately want to be center stage. Let them deal with the circus for a few years. Should be worth a laugh or two. |
