Welcome to Steve's Friend and Family Page!
I don't really have any friends, so I placed an ad in the classifieds pleading for pretend-friends. No takers. Then I countered with a small monetary offer. Plenty of takers. Their job was to send me photos of themselves with make-believe stories about how we met.
As for my family, they had no choice. They tried to "ditch" me on several occasions, including that time they moved out of the house while I was at school. Much to their dismay, I keep finding them. They have given up ridding themselves of me. Persistence pays off.
All kidding aside, below are some of the more important folks in my life. The order is totally arbitrary, so please don't complain if you don't have the most prominent position!

Meet Jaynie. I call her "Buddy." We worked together at Printronix. She was a buyer. She moved onto greener pastures and is becoming fabulously wealthy selling cables and stuff.
My favorite story about Jaynie is the time she tried to store a six pack of Jello in her car during the peak of summer. Yes, Jaynie invented the Jello drink. Patent pending.

This is Bill. He works for Canadian Standards Assoc. He's one of the few Canadians who doesn't say "eh" at the end of every sentence.
Don't let appearances fool you. Bill is probably Canada's foremost bear hunter. It's a private joke, so you'll have to let your imagination run wild.

Davilena and I met at Printronix several years ago. We've been through a lot together. She escaped the confines of Printer Hell, only to find herself in Lawyer Hell at Loyola Law School. Three grinding years later she is a proud graduate, though the bar exam looms large. Knowing her determination, it will be a piece of cake.
The latest news has her on the verge of motherhood. Lucy is due any day now. I'm wishing her well!
